Rollins has been recognized as one of the nation’s best 391 colleges by The Princeton Review and has ranked among the top 20 in six additional categories.

Rollins has been named one of the best colleges in the nation this year in The Princeton Review’s annual roundup of the nation’s best colleges.

Only about 15 percent of America’s 2,400 four-year colleges are profiled in the 2026 edition of the college guidebook, which includes detailed profiles of colleges based on data collected by The Princeton Review on academic offerings and surveys of enrolled students. Focused on serving students for more than 40 years, The Princeton Review is one of the country’s leading tutoring, test prep, and college admissions services companies.

“The colleges we profile in our book are a truly select group,” says Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review and lead author of The Best 391 Colleges. “In our opinion, they are the nation’s best undergraduate colleges and ideal choices for students seeking their ‘best-fit’ college. The colleges that make our ranking lists do so entirely as a result of their own students’ opinions of them.”

In its overall profile on Rollins, this year’s guide quotes extensively from surveyed students. Rollins students describe the College as offering an academic experience that engages students with “local organizations and charities to bring the work we discuss in class into actual action,” citing opportunities to curate museum collections, work with policy makers, and conduct research at the Hume House Child Development & Student Research Center. Students also stressed the hands-on approach to education driven by the way in which “professors get to know students … and pass along wonderful educational opportunities,” with the best educators especially lauded for the way they “capture the class’s attention with their wit and transfer their wit to the content.”

Alongside praise for the study abroad and Immersion programs—which emphasize global citizenship and the value of service learning—one student says, “Almost every single class I have taken has felt like it has a purpose and taught me things that I will be able to utilize in the real world.” Campus friendliness and diversity was also highlighted, with students saying, “No matter where you walk at Rollins, you receive smiles” and “I have [never before] met such a diverse group of people from all over the world.”

The Princeton Review also released unique rankings that name the top 25 colleges in a handful of additional categories, with Rollins ranking No. 4 for Best Health Services (up from No. 9), No. 15 for Best Campus Food, No. 18 for Best Classroom Experience (up from No. 22), No. 18 for Best Quality of Life, No. 4 for Best College City, No. 9 for Best College Radio Station, and No. 13 for Most Beautiful Campus.
