Business professor Serina Haddad has published a 4th edition of her Business Statistics textbook. Featuring Excel-based datasets and digital resources designed to foster engaging, hands-on learning experiences in the classroom, the new edition marks a major step forward in the integration of technology and real-world application in statistical education.
Business examples are updated throughout, including AI usage in American businesses; the probability of a future BP-like oil spill; comparing satisfaction scores for smartphone brands to help businesses better understand consumer preferences; the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on business operations, employment and the supply chain; and many more.
Published by Pearson Higher Education, the textbook reflects more than 15 years of Haddad’s teaching experience in business statistics and analytics. Drawing from her work with thousands of students and mentoring dozens of undergraduate and graduate research projects, the book bridges statistical concepts with practical data-driven decision-making.
