Rollins Faculty Appointed to Florida Communication Association Board

Several Rollins communication professors have been selected to serve on the executive board of the Florida Communication Association.
The Florida Communication Association (FCA) has selected three Rollins faculty to serve on its executive board. Rachel Winter, communication studies lecturer and director of the master’s in strategic communication program, will serve as vice president. Communication professor Anne Stone, also the faculty director of the Social Impact Hub, will serve as educational liaison while communication professor David Painter, a key member of the team who developed the master’s in strategic communication at Rollins, will serve as editor of the Florida Communication Journal.
Grace Dance ’23 ’25MSC, who’s currently pursuing a master’s in strategic communication at Rollins, will serve as marketing coordinator.
The FCA aims to coordinate the efforts of teachers, students, and others interested in advancing the communication arts and sciences in the state of Florida. Since 1930, the annual FCA Convention has invited communication scholars, students, and practitioners from Florida and beyond to present their work and engage in meaningful dialogue.
