At the ANA’s flagship annual event, on October 20 at Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando, Florida, Tracy Kizer, who serves as an associate professor of marketing in Rollins’ Crummer Graduate School of Business, was invited to speak at the symposium at the session titled “The AI-Powered New Normal: How Marketers Are Adapting Today.”

Moderated by AEF president Christine Guilfoyle, the panel brought together leaders from across the marketing industry, including Denis Budniewski, managing director at PwC; Lori Goode, chief marketing officer at Index Exchange; and Patrick Lafferty, CEO of APR. Kizer served as the panel’s sole academic voice, offering a higher education perspective on the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and the marketing profession.

The session explored how AI is reshaping marketing organizations, influencing team structures, and changing employer expectations for emerging talent. The conversation also highlighted the importance of preparing the next generation of marketing professionals to navigate an increasingly AI-driven marketplace.

Kizer’s participation placed Rollins and the Crummer Graduate School of Business among a select group of academic voices represented at the conference, which drew approximately 3,000 senior marketing professionals. The event’s featured speakers included top executives from some of the world's leading brands, including Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Verizon, PepsiCo, AB InBev, and The LEGO Group.
