Prints constitute a significant part of the museum’s collection, featuring over 2,000 examples from artists of diverse backgrounds. Developed over several decades, the collection illustrates important trends in artistic production and showcases various printmaking techniques. As part of its acquisition strategy, the museum cultivates collectors whose vision and generosity enhance its holdings and support its teaching mission.

Since 2021, Benjamin Ortíz and Victor P. Torchia, Jr. have donated over 25 works to the museum’s collection, showcasing prints by Latin American, Caribbean, European, and American artists. This exhibition celebrates their vision and acknowledges the impact of their lifelong commitment to the arts and education. Their contributions, including works by Imna Arroyo, Pablo O’Higgins, and Francisco Mora, have been recently added to the collection, serving as valuable teaching resources for the campus and the community.
