In this keynote Nicole Cromartie, Director of Learning and Engagement at the Clyfford Still Museum presents the catalyst and supporting research for Clyfford Still, Art, and the Young Mind (2022), an exhibition co-curated by 250+ children and the inspiration for Symbolic Languages: Children's Understandings of the Collection, on view at Rollins Museum of Art through May 11, 2025.

The Road to ¡Printing the Revolution!

Dr. Claudia Zapata, Associate Curator of Latino Art, Blanton Museum of Art
The exhibition ¡Printing the Revolution! The Rise and Impact of Chicano Graphics, 1965 to Now, is a landmark research and acquisition effort to champion Chicano artists' contributions to graphic history. In this lecture, Dr. Zapata will delve into the process of navigating activist collectors, artist networks, the new digital art chapter, and the shifting notions of the term “Chicano.”

Happy Hour Tours

Join us in the lobby of The Alfond Inn in Winter Park for a 60-minute guided tour of selections from The Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art, part of the Rollins Museum of Art permanent collection. Beverages are available for purchase before, during, and after the tour from the Hamilton’s Kitchen Bar and The Café.
Pre-registration required. Registration opens two weeks prior to each event.

Self-guided Group Tours | By appointment The galleries are available for self-guided tours by groups during all open hours of operation.
Private Group Tours | Groups of 8+ | By appointment The Rollins Museum of Art offers private docent-led tours for community organizations and tourist groups. Guided Tours must be scheduled a minimum of four weeks in advance of the tour date.
