At Rollins, we want you to live your best life. That’s why we’ve implemented a robust support system that emphasizes a multidimensional approach to health and wellness—one that extends well beyond the classroom. Our focus is on holistic community care with accessible resources just steps away from where you live and learn, so you’ll never have to go far for the support you need.

Think of our approach to overall well-being as a safety net woven from different strands representing everything from traditional aspects of physical and mental health to social, spiritual, and environmental wellness. By creating resources and designing programming around nine distinctive dimensions of wellness, we care for the whole student on their unique journey through Rollins.

Environmental Wellness

At Rollins, we’re committed to acting as responsible stewards of our environment. The College created one of the first environmental studies programs of its kind in the country, laying a foundation for the development of key campus initiatives like the Sustainability Program, which oversees everything from recycling and bike share programs to an on-campus urban farm and Fair Trade practices. Students can also get involved in organizations like EcoRollins, a chapter of local eco-action incubator IDEAS for Us, and Net Impact, which is focused on tackling the world’s toughest challenges by putting business skills to work for good.

Financial Wellness

Budgeting for college can be a major source of stress. The concept of financial wellness—that a person learns to manage their finances to achieve their financial goals—can be tricky to pin down as you navigate financial aid, tuition, and living expenses. Thankfully, the Office of Financial Aid is always standing by to provide support and common-sense advice when it comes to paying for college. Additionally, the Rollins Student Support Foundation is a student-run organization that helps students meet their financial needs through philanthropic donations.

Creative Wellness

Creativity is the lifeblood of the liberal arts, which is why we host a wide range of creative and cultural experiences right on campus. The Rollins Museum of Art is Orlando’s only teaching museum, housing a rotating collection of fine art alongside exhibitions by student-artists. The College’s historic Annie Russell Theatre, Florida’s longest continually running theater, stages an exciting season of musicals and plays featuring student performers, and the Bach Festival regularly hosts world-class concerts on campus, which often showcase the talents of Rollins music majors.

Spiritual Wellness

Spiritual wellness is the practice of seeking meaning through reflection, worship, or human connection. The Office of Religious & Spiritual Life oversees and supports a vast array of spiritual communities on campus, representing all major faiths. They can help you find a spiritual community on or off campus. Non-denominational services are held weekly at Knowles Memorial Chapel right on campus.
