Build timeless knowledge and skills to thrive in an uncertain future.

No one knows what the world will look like four years from now. That unpredictability might unsettle some folks. Not our grads. That’s because a Rollins education prepares you to thrive in an uncertain future. Through our innovative, interdisciplinary curriculum, you’ll build broad-based knowledge and develop 21st-century skills like critical thinking, creativity, complex problem solving, and collaboration—timeless tools that will always position you a few steps ahead of the curve.

An Interdisciplinary Approach

Poverty and hunger. Global inequality. Climate change. The challenges of the 21st century are too complex to solve through any single lens. They require changemakers who can make connections across multiple perspectives and disciplines and craft solutions in collaboration. Our core curriculum—Rollins Foundations in the Liberal Arts (RFLA)—reflects this reality. At Rollins, you’ll learn to think across barriers and work in diverse teams to design strategies to resolve real-world problems.

“My Rollins education provided me the space and means to take up multiple interests and therefore multiple skill sets. Having multiple expertises and perspectives not only aids in long-term career growth and adaptability, but it makes all of it that much more fun and interesting.”

“Inside the classroom and out, I learned core skills like discipline, teamwork, and listening. Nobody knows what jobs will even exist in five years. Jobs can change, but skills can be applied to any field. It’s those things you can take for the future. Rollins teaches you all of that.”
