Cornell Professor of Religion Yudit Greenberg was recently a panelist at the Symposium on Love in World Religions, where she spoke about love in Jewish sources and how these traditions construe the nature and significance of love for others and for God or the transcendent.

The symposium was sponsored by the Harvard University Human Flourishing Program as part of its ongoing project titled, “The Assessment and Empirical Study of Interpersonal Love.” The workshop explored non-Christian perspectives on love, in part, to identify points of resonance and tension with the conceptual and empirical work of this long-term research.
