I hope you enjoyed the summer and are looking forward to the school year ahead. I write today to share another update on the work of the Presidential Search Committee. The search for Rollins’ 16th president is progressing well and on schedule.
The committee members met recently to evaluate the search’s progress and to initiate a thoughtful and systematic review of applications. This initial review, the first of several stages in the candidate-vetting process, will continue into the fall.
The multifaceted undertaking of building a strong and diverse pool of well-qualified candidates is ongoing. We remind you that you are encouraged to help identify promising prospects or individuals who might suggest such prospects.
The search prospectus continues to be available on the College’s presidential search website. Nominations and suggestions we receive from those closest to the Rollins community are especially meaningful in generating candidates.
Please reach out to our consulting team, Julie Tea (j.tea@storbecksearch.com) and Kate Phillips (k.phillips@storbecksearch.com) of Storbeck Search, with potential names and contact information.
The committee members will meet next month to begin narrowing the pool of applicants to a smaller group for further review and evaluation. On behalf of the committee, I will continue to share periodic updates with you throughout the search. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you for your support of this important work.
